SDE - Full Stack Engineer

Experience

• 4 to 10 years of software engineering experience across backend, frontend, APIs, and cloud-native applications
• Experience leading delivery of product features or engineering workstreams
• Strong understanding of Agile development and modern engineering practices

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and microservices
• Build secure and performant APIs, backend services, and modern web applications
• Own features/modules end-to-end from requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, design reviews, and adoption
• Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Designers, and Engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technology decisions for assigned products/platforms
• Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and observability
• Build & deploy solutions on cloud platforms and contribute to CI/CD & DevOps
• Leverage AI tools and AI-enabled development practices to improve engineering productivity and speed of delivery
• Mentor junior engineers and support capability building within the team
• Drive timely delivery of engineering commitments while maintaining high quality standards

Preferred Skills

• Full-stack development experience across modern frontend and backend technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
• Exposure to AI/GenAI-enabled applications is preferred

Full Stack Engineer

4 to 10 years of hands-on experienced Full Stack Engineer who designs and develops/codes production-grade distributed systems scalable Python/FastAPI and Java backends, responsive React.js frontends, cloud-native deployment on AWS and Azure, and robust event-driven integration using Kafka, messaging queues, and microservices. You own what you build, end to end.

Backend and Microservices/API Architecture

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, production-grade full-stack applications using Python/Java backend frameworks and modern APIs, delivering secure, testable, and maintainable solutions aligned with domain-driven design and enterprise architecture best practices.
• Design and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs, defining robust API contracts, governance standards, and security controls to enable reliable and seamless enterprise integrations.
• Design and implement scalable event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging solutions using Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, and other cloud-native messaging services.
• Demonstrate deep hands-on development experience with Python, Java, FastAPI, Spring Boot, and modern backend application development frameworks and tools.
• Design, implement, and optimize relational and NoSQL data platforms, including schema modeling, indexing strategies, query tuning, partitioning, and database migrations across PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and MongoDB.
• Ensure high application performance, scalability, and reliability through effective caching strategies, database optimization, connection management, backup, failover, and disaster recovery practices
• Hands-on experience developing Agentic AI solutions, including agent orchestration, multi-agent workflows, tool integration, memory management, and seamless integration with enterprise applications

Frontend Web Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, production-grade web applications using React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend architecture patterns.
• Build responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces that deliver consistent user experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, API gateways, and backend microservices built on FastAPI, Spring Boot, and cloud-native platforms.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, SAML, and role-based access control (RBAC).

SDLC, Cloud Deployment & MLOps

• Owing end-to-end SDLC ownership across sprint planning, code review, CI/CD, release management, and post-deployment monitoring in Agile/SAFe delivery models
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes (EKS / AKS) with hands on experience in managing namespaces and pod autoscaling
• Instrument applications with structured logging, distributed tracing using OpenTelemetry and integrating log metrics with Prometheus, and Grafana
• Apply security practices including secure secrets management (Vault, Secrets Manager), and implementing least-privilege IAM policies
