Frontend Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React and TypeScript to build scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have experience developing complex frontends, designing efficient data-fetching strategies, and creating intuitive user interfaces supported by strong testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript
• Build reusable, maintainable, and performant UI components using modern React paradigms (hooks, composition patterns, error boundaries)
• Design and integrate web APIs with structured data handling and efficient state management
• Implement robust data-fetching and caching strategies (e.g., React Query or similar libraries)
• Develop real-time user experiences using WebSockets or Server-Sent Events (SSE)
• Ensure high-quality UI/UX through effective data visualization practices
• Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and visual regression tests
• Participate in code reviews, pull request workflows, and CI/CD processes
• Continuously optimize application performance and improve overall user experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development with a focus on React-based applications
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with:
• React Hooks, component design patterns, and error handling
• API integration and asynchronous data handling
• Client-side caching and data synchronization techniques
• Experience building real-time applications using WebSockets or SSE
• Solid understanding of data visualization principles and experience with at least one charting library (e.g., Chart.js, D3.js, Recharts)
• Strong testing experience:
• Unit Testing (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Integration Testing
• Visual Regression Testing
• Familiarity with:
• Git and version control workflows
• CI/CD pipelines
• Agile development practices
