Frontend Engineer / Senior Frontend Engineer / Lead Frontend Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for passionate Frontend Engineers to build modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications. Depending on your experience, you will contribute by developing responsive user interfaces, owning complex features, designing scalable frontend architectures, and driving engineering excellence.

You will work closely with Product, UX, Backend, and Engineering teams to deliver exceptional user experiences while leveraging modern frontend technologies and AI-assisted development tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible, and high-quality user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies.
• Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into production-ready applications.
• Design and develop reusable, scalable component architectures.
• Manage application state using Zustand (or similar) and implement efficient data fetching, caching, retries, and error handling using React Query (or similar).
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and accessibility compliance.
• Optimize application performance, rendering efficiency, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code and contribute to unit and end-to-end testing using Playwright or similar frameworks.
• Implement frontend observability through metrics, logging, tracing, and monitoring.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to frontend standards and best practices (Senior/Lead).
• Drive frontend architecture, platform modernization, and technology decisions, including micro-frontend adoption (Lead).
• Leverage AI coding assistants to improve productivity, code quality, and development velocity while critically evaluating AI-generated code to ensure it meets engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 1–10+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with React and component-based architecture.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Zustand, Redux, or similar.
• Experience with React Query (or similar) for data fetching and caching.
• Good understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization techniques, rendering strategies, and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with unit testing and E2E testing frameworks (Playwright preferred).
• Understanding of frontend observability, monitoring, logging, and tracing.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience using AI-powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar) to improve engineering productivity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building scalable frontend applications.
• Experience with micro-frontend architecture.
• Exposure to OpenTelemetry or frontend monitoring platforms.
• Experience leading frontend modernization or migration initiatives.
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions.
