Frontend Developer

1. Work with faculty from IIT Madras and top researchers on building top-notch tools for Indian languages.
2. Work with an accomplished team of residents and researchers working on NLP, speech, OCR, and sign language.

Requirements

1. 3-5 years of experience with thorough understanding of React.js, Next.js, React hooks and its core principles
2. Strong knowledge of JavaScript, CSS 3 HTML 5 SCSS or SASS.
3. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
4. Must have experience with RESTful API integration.
5. Experience with Redux with saga and following good coding standard.
6. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
7. Knowledge of modern authorisation mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, oAuth will be an added advantage
8. Added advantage if you have experience on Firebase and Push Notifications
9. Basic Django knowledge is required.
10. Exposure to CI/CD would be an added advantage
11. Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Github.
12. Familiarity with Jest is a plus.
