Job Description
- Hand-coding of web/mobile based, and fully responsive sites and applications.
- Test sites and applications for functional, cross-browser, performance and usability defects.
- Provide time estimates to team managers as requested & collaborating with QA in project executions.
- Communicate throughout project execution with developers and other members of the team using video conferencing, instant messaging, and other collaboration tools as needed.
- Curiosity and excitement for new web technologies / techniques.
- Strong passion for the Frontend as a mix of art and science.
- Solid understanding of cross browser / platform issues and code solutions.
- Practical, proven and deep understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Expertise on web standards and CSS/media query/responsive layouts. Master of the DOM.
- Excellent time management, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow and understand technical specifications and production processes.
- Extensive experience in hand coding, no WYSIWYG coding.
- Experience with preprocessors such as SASS, LESS or Stylus.
- Experience / familiarity with (at least) one of the following CMS: WordPress, Magento, Shopify (or similar).
- Experience building 3rd party plug-ins for a JS framework (jQuery, Mootools, etc).
- Experience with GIT and tracking tools, such as Gitlab, Github or Bitbucket.
- Use Grunt or Gulp to streamline development tasks.
- Have experience in deploy automatisation.
- Have experience in TDD for FrontEnd Development.
