Front-End Developer-WooCommerce Shopify Specialist Job Profile Status: Brief About Role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Front-End Developer with proven experience in WooCommerce, Shopify, and modern web technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing responsive, user-friendly, and high-converting eCommerce interfaces, and should be comfortable working with both pre-built themes and custom development.
In this role, you ll gain hands-on experience with modern front-end development practices, including advanced React.js techniques, responsive design, and performance optimization. You ll deepen your knowledge of headless commerce, API integrations, and scalable eCommerce architecture using WooCommerce and Shopify. Working closely with a cross-functional team, you ll also improve your collaboration, code quality, and Agile workflow skills giving you strong exposure to real-world project delivery in a fast-paced digital environment.
Responsibilities - Designed and implemented responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and ReactJS.
- Well-versed in core front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and ReactJS.
- Converted UI/UX wireframes and visual designs into clean, efficient, and maintainable front-end code.
- Created reusable React components with effective state management to streamline development.
- Ensured compatibility across major browsers and optimized front-end performance for speed and reliability.
- Worked closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver cohesive and intuitive user experiences.
- Proficient with version control systems like Git and familiar with modern front-end development workflows.
- Possess a basic understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration with front-end applications.
- Strong emphasis on writing high-quality, maintainable code with a mobile-first, user-centric design approach.
- Customize themes and templates for WooCommerce and Shopify.
- Work with Shopify and WooCommerce to implement custom functionalities.
- Mandatory experience with WooCommerce and Shopify platforms for building and customizing eCommerce websites.
- 3-6 years of hands on experience in WooCommerce, Shopify front end technologies.
- Strong experience with WooCommerce (theme customization, plugin integration, troubleshooting).
- Proficient in Shopify (theme development, Liquid templating, third-party app integration).
- Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with React.js, including component lifecycle, hooks, and state management.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and page performance
