Hiring: Senior Software Engineer – Frontend

Netcore Unbxd is looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Frontend to build and scale enterprise-grade React and Next.js applications powering our product discovery platform for global e-commerce businesses.

In this role, you will own critical frontend systems such as dashboards, configuration consoles, and customer-facing interfaces while collaborating closely with Product, Design, Backend, and AI/ML teams to deliver AI-first experiences. You'll play a key role in frontend architecture, engineering best practices, and mentoring across the team.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable React and Next.js applications.
• Build reusable, production-ready UI components and own component library packages within a monorepo.
• Write clean, well-typed TypeScript with strong emphasis on maintainability and scalability.
• Optimize application performance through SSR optimization, hydration improvements, code splitting, lazy loading, bundle optimization, and efficient rendering.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and propose scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain skill.md workflows for AI-assisted development.
• Configure and maintain .cursor/rules to enforce coding standards and AI-assisted development practices.
• Integrate and manage Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers by connecting AI tools with internal APIs, databases, documentation, and external services.
• Evaluate and standardize AI development tools to improve engineering productivity while maintaining code quality.

• Conduct code reviews and provide actionable feedback.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on React, Next.js, and TypeScript best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and AI/ML teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible user interfaces.
• Define API contracts and integration patterns with backend teams.
• Identify technical debt and drive continuous improvements.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for components, including props, types, usage examples, and edge cases.
• Ensure documentation is updated alongside every code change.
• Foster a documentation-first engineering culture.

• 4–5 years of professional frontend engineering experience, including at least 3 years with React and Next.js.
• Strong understanding of React internals, rendering lifecycle, hooks, reconciliation, and memoization.
• Advanced TypeScript expertise, including generics, utility types, discriminated unions, strict mode, and type inference.
• Experience building or maintaining component libraries or design systems.
• Strong knowledge of modern state management patterns.
• Experience working with monorepo tools such as Turborepo.
• Strong Git workflow knowledge, including branching strategies, pull requests, and conflict resolution.
• Excellent debugging and performance profiling skills using browser and React developer tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a documentation-first mindset.

• Experience with e-commerce or SaaS products.
• Knowledge of search, merchandising, facets, ranking, and A/B testing concepts.
• Experience publishing packages to npm or GitHub Packages.
• Experience building analytics dashboards and data visualization.
• Hands-on experience with skill.md, Cursor Rules, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Understanding of prompt engineering and AI-assisted developer workflows.
