About the Role
As a Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for driving new business growth while deepening relationships with existing enterprise accounts. This is a dual-role combining account management and sales - perfect for someone who thrives on building trust, solving problems, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full-Cycle Sales Ownership
- Own the complete sales lifecycle: lead generation - discovery - product demos - solution mapping - commercial negotiation - contract closure - revenue collection.
- Drive high-value enterprise SaaS deals in logistics, manufacturing, FMCG, automotive, and related verticals.
2. Pipeline Building & Prospecting
- Identify and target key prospects across the logistics and transportation ecosystem.
- Build a robust, predictable pipeline through outreach, networking, and market research.
- Leverage CRM tools to track, forecast, and improve pipeline velocity.
3. Product & Industry Expertise
- Deeply understand Freight Tiger's SaaS TMS capabilities and articulate ROI to CXO/VP-level stakeholders.
- Stay informed on logistics tech, TMS/WMS, digital supply chain trends, and competitive landscape.
4. Key Account Management (KAM)
- Act as the strategic partner for assigned accounts, driving adoption, upsell, and long-term value realization.
- Build multi-level relationships within customer organizations to maximize account penetration.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation.
- Collaborate with Marketing to align campaigns and tailor messaging for target industries.
6. Revenue Realization & Governance
- Ensure adherence to commercial terms, timelines, and contract integrity.
- Work with Finance to ensure timely payments and a healthy cash cycle.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
- 2-6 years of experience in SaaS, enterprise sales, or logistics tech.
- Strong track record of closing mid-to-large enterprise deals.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consultative selling skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
- High-growth mindset: experience in a 1- 10 or 10- 100 stage startup/scale-up preferred.
- Understanding of logistics, supply chain, or transportation technology is a strong plus.
