About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of our mobile application. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in native Android development, a solid understanding of modern mobile architecture patterns, and the ability to deliver high-quality features within a fast-paced contract engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to implement new features.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and stability.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Implement unit tests and support the QA process.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and provide regular progress updates.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Experience with Jetpack Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room).
• Good understanding of MVVM Architecture and Clean Architecture principles.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON data.
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with Android Studio and Gradle build systems.
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Firebase services (Crashlytics, Analytics, Push Notifications).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store.
• Familiarity with unit testing and UI testing frameworks.
• Experience working in startup or product-based environments.
