Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Prototyping & Full-Stack Development

  • Engage directly with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs and rapidly ship full-stack MVPs within short sprint cycles across diverse MedTech and Health RCM use cases.
  • Build and maintain end-to-end web and mobile applications (iOS & Android) using React, React Native, Expo, Node.js, and Python.
  • Design backend services, REST APIs, and data pipelines handling clinical-grade and RCM data at scale.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery and raise engineering throughput.

ML Model Integration

  • Integrate ML and predictive models delivered by the data science team into production applications, ensuring seamless inference pipelines, versioned model deployments, and real-time or batch serving as required.
  • Implement formal controls for ML model lifecycle management version control of model weights, deployment scripts, and rollback procedures — as required for FDA traceability.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists to define data contracts, API boundaries, and integration test coverage for model-powered features.

Scaling to Production & Maintenance

  • Own the transition from MVP to production-ready: refactor for performance, reliability, and security; implement CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker), and cloud deployments (AWS / Azure / DigitalOcean).
  • Maintain production applications with a strong sense of ownership — proactive monitoring, issue triage, and incident resolution.
  • Build and maintain BI dashboards and data visualisation tools to surface actionable insights for clinical and operations leadership.

Regulatory Awareness

  • Develop software with an inherent understanding of regulated medtech environments; contribute to validation documentation and audit-readiness activities alongside QA and the regulatory teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of hands-on full-stack development experience with a clear track record of shipping applications end-to-end — from prototype to production.
  • Prior experience integrating ML/AI models into production applications is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in pharma, medtech, health-tech, Health RCM, or any regulated software environment is a strong advantage.

Technology Stack

Category

Technologies

PostgreSQL, time-series databases (e.g. TimescaleDB, InfluxDB)

Cloud & DevOps

AWS, Azure, Digital Ocean; Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD, Docker, secure SDLC

AI/ML & Agentic Tools

Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot; MLOps & model deployment pipelines

Power BI / Tableau; REST APIs, GraphQL, ETL pipelines

Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge (Desirable)

Familiarity with any of the following is a plus, not a prerequisite: 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA / GDPR, IEC 62304 (Software Lifecycle for Medical Devices), ALCOA+ Data Integrity Principles, GAMP 5 framework.

Key Competencies

  • Strong ownership mindset — you follow through from requirement to production and beyond.
  • Clear communicator; comfortable presenting prototypes and technical trade-offs to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — you can define the problem, not just execute against a spec.
  • Hands-on and pragmatic; equally at home writing a Python data pipeline and demoing a working product.
  • High standards for code quality, documentation, and maintainability in regulated environments.
