Formulation Scientist ( Cosmetics )

Required Qualifications/Experience :

• M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics, Cosmetic Science, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in cosmetic formulation and product development.

Job Profile:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Formulations Scientist/Cosmetics Scientist to lead end-to-end product development across Skincare, Haircare, Cosmetics, and Oral Care categories. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in formulation development, product optimization, scale-up, and technology transfer while ensuring compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards. This is a full-time on-site role at Mediwin Pharmaceuticals located at Gujarat Pharma Techno Park, Sari, Matoda, Ahmadabad.

Roles Responsibilities:

• Market research and consumer study.

• New Product development.

• Research and Development innovation strategy.

• Product concept study.

• Raw material selection.

• Novel formulation development.

• Texture and sensory optimization.

• Claim substantiation.

• Scale-up and tech-transfer.

• Product lifecycle management.

Required skills:

• Strong understanding of cosmetics formulation science and product
  development.

• Hands-on experience in developing cosmetic formulations.

• In-depth knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, surfactants, emulsifiers,
  preservatives, active ingredients, and specialty chemicals.

• Experience with stability studies, compatibility testing, analytical evaluation, and troubleshooting formulation issues.

• Knowledge of cosmetic regulatory requirements.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Preferred skills :

• Experience in scale-up, process validation, and technology transfer.

• Experience with product claims substantiation and consumer sensory evaluation.

• Familiarity with national and international cosmetic regulations and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
