Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong programming experience (around 10 years) in C, C++.
• Strong understanding/experience in RDKB
• Experienced Linux Kernel Programming.
• Familiarity with:

• REST APIs / Microservices architecture

• Experience with databases:

• Experience in Ovs-db networking database
• NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.

• Hands-on experience with:

• Git (commit, branch, merge, rebase)

• Experience in test automation framework to do smoke testing.
• Strong experience with developing features for OpenWRT and experience in creating package like OPKG and RPM is a must.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills
• Experience in bootstrapping development and Strong scripting skills python, groovy, busyBox(ash and tools), etc.

• Understanding of:

• WiFi protocols and standards
• LTE understanding
• Networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, DHCP, DNS, Multicast, Map-T, IP administration)
• Experience in Wi-Fi concepts like AP, Hotspot, Security, Bands, etc

• Experience in telecom or networking domain is highly preferred
• Experience in development of features related to WiFi standards (Wi-Fi 5/6/6E/7), CPE, DOCSIS, RDKB or any native broadband solutions is an must.
• Exposure to performance optimization in networked systems
• Experience working with cloud platform to understand the orchestration between systems.
