Job Summary
North American Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst with a strong foundation in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in finance operations, preferably within the insurance domain, and possess good analytical, Excel and communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform banking data entry for receipts and payments

Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations

Handle control account reconciliations

Manage insurance policy data entry and reconcile insurance company accounts

Post journal entries accurately in the accounting system

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

Carry out bookkeeping functions, general ledger (GL) analysis and related finance tasks

Support internal teams and respond to finance-related queries when required

Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all finance records

Qualification & Experience

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting field

Part qualification in ICMAI or ICAI preferred. CMA Inter preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role

Prior exposure to the insurance industry will be an added advantage

Preferred Skills

Strong knowledge of general accounting, bookkeeping and reconciliation

Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF formulas, etc.) Experience working with business/accounting systems

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong English verbal and written communication skills

High level of attention to detail and accuracy
