Startopreneur is India's Full-Stack Venture Studio & Boutique Advisory company. Through our Capitalise vertical, we run Advisory CFO mandates, fundraising execution, and transaction structuring for founders and mid-market companies across India and the US.

The Role

This is a standalone, high-ownership role you'll work directly with both founders (CEO & CFO) from day one. You'll own financial statements, modelling, valuation, and fractional-CFO delivery for our advisory and portfolio clients across India and the US.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain financial statements, MIS packs, and management reporting for advisory & portfolio clients.
• Build financial models (3-statement, DCF, scenario/sensitivity) and support valuation & benchmarking against global comparables.
• Deliver day-to-day fractional-CFO work alongside our CFO board packs, investor MIS, cap table management.
• Support fundraising: pitch deck financials, data rooms, due diligence, term sheet and cap table analysis.
• Support US-facing advisory clients with cross-border financial reporting.
• Use AI tools meaningfully to accelerate modelling, valuation, and benchmarking work.

What We're Looking For

• CA (qualified) / MBA (Finance) / CFA (Level II cleared or Charterholder).
• 3+ years in financial modelling, valuation, audit, or CFO advisory Big 4/boutique advisory/startup finance background preferred.
• Strong Excel and modelling skills, with a solid grounding in valuation methodology.
• Comfortable working with US clients across overlapping call hours.
• High ownership and independent judgement.
• Exposure to the startup/VC ecosystem, fundraising, cap tables, and ESOP planning is a strong plus.
