Job Description

Key Responsibilities

 Lead the Finance & Accounts function, including direct management of a team, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, statutory requirements, and regulatory standards.

 Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support business objectives.

 Oversee statutory compliance with Indian GAAP including GST (returns, reconciliations, audits), Income Tax Act filings, and any other local tax and social regulations_ Transfer pricing and IFRS reporting are a plus.

 Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, governance frameworks, and applicable regulatory requirements.

 Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support business leadership in strategic decision-making.

 Act as the primary liaison with auditors, tax consultants, regulatory authorities, and other key stakeholders.

 Perform regular bank and account reconciliations, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies and variances.

 Maintain accurate and well-organized financial records while ensuring readiness for internal and external audits.

 Support audit processes by providing timely and accurate information and ensuring compliance with established financial procedures and controls.

 Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile

 Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

 7–10 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts.

 Strong expertise in statutory compliance, specially Indian GAAP, including taxation (GST, Income Tax Act) _  transfer pricing, and reporting (IFRS is a plus)

 Experience working in an international environment

 Strong leadership capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and analytical thinking.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

Professional Experience

 Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting or financial operations, preferably within an international or multi-entity environment.

 Proven expertise in full-cycle accounting, including end-to-end bookkeeping, financial reporting, and monthly/year-end closing activities.

 Strong understanding of international accounting standards and tax regulations, including VAT and other indirect tax requirements.

 Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail.

 Process-oriented mindset with a strong focus on compliance, controls, and operational excellence.

Education

 Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

Technical Skills & Systems

 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.

 Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace.

 Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Xero, or similar enterprise platforms.

Language Requirements

 Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
