Finance Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for someone to oversee the whole Accounts function in SAP, ensuring timely monthly P&L closings and quarterly full closings.

About the Role

This critical role requires a seasoned accounting professional with a strong command of ERP systems, particularly SAP, to manage and optimize our financial operations. You will be instrumental in driving timely and accurate financial reporting, managing a dedicated team, and collaborating effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire Accounts function in SAP to ensure timely monthly P&L closings and quarterly full closings.
• Independently manage and ensure accurate monthly financial closures.
• Manage a team of 4-5 accounts professionals responsible for AR/AP/FA.
• Effectively deal with and collaborate with other departments such as Admin, HR, and IT.

Requirements

• Good understanding of accounts and related processes.
• Understanding of how to work in cross-functional roles required for ERP systems (as opposed to Tally).
• Proficiency in SAP B1, SAP Enterprise, or other major ERP systems (in order of preference).
• Must be meticulous and detailed.
• Maturity to manage a team of 4-5 accounts people who manage AR/AP/FA.
• Maturity to deal with other departments like Admin, HR, and IT.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting.
• Team handling experience is a must.
• Strong accounting experience is a must.
• Candidates from IT organizations are preferred, with a clear understanding of invoicing, account payable, and account receivable.
• Qualification: CA (Chartered Accountant).
