- Lack of safe drinking water • Environmental damage to water systems due to sewage, effluent, and desalination
- Greenhouse gas impact and pollution caused by agriculture and biomass waste
For waste - water recovery, we have developed a proprietary system called Tritron”. It is currently installed and in operation at select India campuses of large listed Companies.
For converting organic waste to natural gas, we have developed “Biothene”. It is currently installed and in operation at select facilities of large listed Companies.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with at least 2+ years of practical experience in manufacturing industries. The role will be responsible for preparing budgets and management reports, analyzing cost drivers, compliances, implementing internal cost controls, and working with management to improve profitability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Create reports: Produce monthly management accounts, profit & loss statements, and periodic expense, budget variance, and supply chain costing reports.
- Analyze costs: Segregate and measure fixed and variable costs, calculate project-wise profit margins, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
- Perform variance analysis: Compare actual results versus budgeted figures to identify deviations, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement cost & internal controls: Design and implement cost & internal control systems, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive implementation of approved measures.
- Collaborate with management: Work closely with production, procurement, and senior management to identify opportunities to maximise profit and minimise waste.
- Support audits and compliance: Assist internal and external audits related to compliance, costing and inventory; ensure records meet statutory and company policy requirements.
- Continuous improvement: Participate in process-improvement initiatives.
- Assist in filing GST and income tax returns: Coordinating with internal teams and consultants to ensure accurate data, timely submissions, reconciliations, and compliance with applicable tax regulations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- A qualified CA along with 2+ years of experience in manufacturing industries
- Strong accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience with standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Advance Excel knowledge with ERP/accounting software (Zoho, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Analytical mindset with strong numeric accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to present findings to management.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of GST & labour laws, cost components, and other basic compliance requirements.
