Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, driving budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and business performance reviews.
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive preparation and review of MIS reports, management dashboards, and executive presentations for senior leadership.
  • Lead variance analysis, identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor financial and operational KPIs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee cost optimization initiatives, profitability analysis, working capital management, and productivity improvement programs.
  • Lead monthly financial closure activities and ensure reporting governance across business units.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring capability development and high-performance standards.
  • Collaborate with plant operations, procurement, supply chain, and commercial teams to improve financial visibility and business outcomes.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and best practices within financial reporting and planning functions.
  • Ensure effective utilization of SAP FICO for financial reporting, planning, controls, and analysis.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Finance, and Financial Reporting.
  • Proven experience in leading budgeting, forecasting, annual operating plans, and strategic planning exercises.
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Excellent MIS reporting, dashboarding, and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and management reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP FICO is mandatory.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analytics tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Mandatory Requirements

Qualified CA

15+ years of post-qualification experience in FP&A / Business Finance

Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory

Hands-on SAP FICO experience is mandatory

Experience in leading reporting, MIS, budgeting, and forecasting functions

Prior team handling or finance leadership experience preferred

Strong stakeholder management and business partnering experience
