Job Description
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Conduct variance analysis and identify trends to support decision-making
- Develop financial models to evaluate business opportunities and risks
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes across all departments
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems
- Monitor industry trends and competitor financials to provide market insights
- Assist in preparing materials for board meetings and investor presentations
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
Required:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the tech industry
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred:
- Master s degree in Finance or MBA
- Professional certification (CFA, CPA, or similar)
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of the software industry and SaaS business models
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) for data analysis
