This Position reports to:
Business RD Controller Your role and responsibilities :In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise to your assigned organization. Each day, you will compile and analyze various relevant metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific business.The work model for the role is: #LI HybridThis role is contributing to the Automation, Electrification and Motion Business Areas of Technology Center business based in Bangalore, India.You will be mainly accountable for:
- Independently performing monthly closing of financial including cost booking validating accuracy of financial data and reports by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions.
- Performing monthly analysis of business trends, variance analysis to plan and key performance indicators to be used in management reviews.
- Independently manage the monthly forecasting and annual planning processes, ensuring that financial results are stated accurately.
- Be a valued business partner to the business team, providing insight regarding costs and headcount information for each department and providing valuable forecasts.
- Optimize performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, and coordinating information requirements.
- Work closely with operations team to collate data required for charge-outs as per the charging model and provide inputs for invoicing to various entities.
- Maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/internal/external audits and reviews.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- Qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost Management Accountant/Masters Finance Degreewith10+ years of experience in Financial Controlling and taxation preferably in a shared services environment.
- Good knowledge of USGAAP INGAAP.
- ERP -SAP S4HANAworking knowledge.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, andData analysis.
