FileNet Technical Lead

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with a strong background in FileNet for our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise content management systems, exhibit strong leadership qualities, and demonstrate a proven ability to manage and guide technical teams. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of developers and engineers in the implementation and support of FileNet-based solutions.

Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.

System Architecture: Design and architect scalable and robust FileNet solutions that meet business needs and adhere to best practices.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other IT professionals to deliver high-quality solutions.

Quality Assurance: Ensure the reliability and performance of FileNet systems through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to industry standards.

Issue Resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to maintain system integrity.

Documentation: Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation of system designs, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on FileNet solutions.

Technical Skills:

Extensive knowledge of FileNet P8, Content Navigator, and other IBM ECM products.

Proficiency in Java, J2EE, web services, and related technologies.

Experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.

Familiarity with various operating systems, particularly Windows and Linux.

Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices.

Leadership Skills: Proven track record of effectively leading technical teams, with excellent interpersonal and team-building abilities.

Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and workflows.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications: IBM FileNet certifications are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in agile development environments.

Knowledge of other ECM platforms and tools.

Previous experience in financial services, healthcare, or government sectors.

Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).

Work Environment

Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and project oversight.
