Qualification
MS / DNB / DO Ophthalmology
Long-Term Fellowship in Cornea or Paediatric Ophthalmology (as applicable)
Valid NMC / State Medical Council Registration
Experience
Minimum 2-3 Years of experience after completion of Long-Term Fellowship
Candidates should be capable of independently managing OPD, surgeries, and specialty cases
Salary
4 Lakhs per Month + Performance Incentives
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic consultations and specialty OPD
Independently manage Cornea or Paediatric Ophthalmology services
Perform specialty surgeries as per fellowship training
Diagnose and manage complex ophthalmic disorders
Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
Coordinate with Optometrists, OT staff, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure NABH-compliant practices
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and community outreach programs
Skills Required
Strong clinical and surgical expertise in the respective subspecialty
Ability to independently handle specialty surgical cases
Excellent communication and patient counselling skills
Professional, ethical, and patient-centric approach
Leadership and team collaboration abilities
