Factspan Analytics - Senior Manager - Data Science & Data Engineering (10-18 yrs)

Core Responsibilities :

Team management :

- Act as the dedicated delivery partner for a cross-functional team of Data Scientists and Engineers

- Own all client engagement and proactively remove technical or organizational blockers to maintain team velocity.

Technical Architecture & Strategy : Lead the design and integration of scalable Data Engineering pipelines with advanced Machine Learning models, ensuring that data infrastructure supports the specific feature requirements of the Data Science team.

Hands-on Python Engineering : Contribute directly to the codebase by developing core Python modules, or debug critical issues on need basis.

Stakeholder & Product Alignment : Translate ambiguous business objectives into a technical product backlog; manage expectations with executive leadership regarding delivery timelines, resource constraints, and the "Definition of Done."

Mentorship & Quality Governance : Conduct high-level code reviews across both DS and DE domains; mentor junior and mid-level staff on the intersection of software engineering best practices and statistical modeling.

Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in the data space, with at least 3 years in a formal or informal leadership/management capacity.

- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end data products from raw ingestion to productionized ML insights.

- Ability to switch contexts rapidly between managing people/processes
