Facility Manager

Job Description

• Manage all aspects of facilities management, including security, transport, housekeeping, maintenance of infrastructure, and amenities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
• Develop and manage local vendor contracts, obtain quotes, and oversee tenders for vendors and suppliers to maintain high-quality services.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives and calculate costs to maximize cost-effectiveness of goods and services.
• Coordinate and monitor activities with contract suppliers to ensure delivery schedules and quality standards are met.
• Formulate plans for new facilities, allocate space efficiently, and oversee implementation for optimal functionality.
• Oversee contractor and vendor relationships, review service contracts, and ensure facility management needs are effectively addressed.
• Maintain compliance with local codes and regulations for commercial and residential properties.
• Prepare and track facility budgets, monitor expenses, and negotiate contracts to optimize delivery and achieve cost savings.
• Handle customer complaints, track and evaluate feedback, and develop strategies to enhance customer experience.
• Supervise a team, provide training, and manage performance to meet facility management objectives.
• Generate bills, reconcile invoices with the accounting department, and maintain accurate payment records for services rendered.
• Create and maintain agreements with vendors and agencies to ensure service level agreement compliance.
• Conduct regular facilities inspections, review completed work by contractors and vendors, and ensure quality standards are upheld.
• Produce and present regular reports on facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures, and purchases for review.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to understanding and resolving issues to enhance customer satisfaction and prioritize tasks effectively.
