Job Description

The Facility Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and smooth functioning of the organization's facilities and infrastructure. This role ensures a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment by overseeing building operations, vendor management, safety compliance, and administrative support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of office premises,
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for housekeeping, security, pantry, maintenance, and other facility services
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and environmental regulations
  • Plan and execute office space management, renovations, expansions, and relocations
  • Monitor and manage facility budgets, costs, and AMCs (Annual Maintenance Contracts) for equipment and assets
  • Supervise security systems, access control, and building management systems
  • Handle emergency response planning and ensure business continuity of facility operations
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support organizational needs
  • Maintain records of assets, licenses, statutory compliances, and facility documentation
  • Lead and manage a team of facility staff, technicians, and support personnel
  • Drive initiatives for cost optimization, sustainability, and process improvement
  • Prepare periodic reports on facility performance, incidents, and maintenance activities

Qualifications:

  • MBA or Graduate
  • 812 years of experience in facilities management, administration, or related roles, with prior team management experience
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, statutory compliances, and safety regulations
  • Proven experience in vendor management.
