Role Description:

The Associate, Expense Audit is responsible for reviewing expense reports to identify exceptions and validate compliance with Amgen s policies. This role is critical to Amgen s efforts to maintain its internal controls and to ensure accuracy of employee-submitted expense reports.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform timely and accurate audits of expense reports.
• Flag and escalate policy violations and compliance risks.
• Document findings and contribute to audit insights reporting.
• Support the implementation of new audit rules and exception handling procedures.
• Collaborate with the Customer Success team to respond to user inquiries via ServiceNow.

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor s degree with 1-3 years of financial operations (including Travel & Expense administration, Financial Planning & Analysis, Procurement, etc.) experience.
• Familiarity with audit or compliance functions in industries practicing GxP or other highly regulated industries.

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with T&E policies and T&E management systems.
• Detail oriented with an aptitude for identifying non-compliance.
• Proficiency in recordkeeping and documentation practices.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of SAP, ServiceNow, SAP Concur, or other systems.

Soft Skills:

• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Customer service mindset.
