Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential exhibitors and sponsors across education, EdTech, school infrastructure, stationery, toys, robotics, publishing, uniforms, transport, furniture, and related sectors.
  • Sell exhibition booth space, sponsorship packages, branding opportunities, and speaking slots.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct product presentations and virtual/physical meetings with decision-makers.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Achieve monthly and overall sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and sales in the CRM or Excel.
  • Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth exhibitor onboarding.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking meetings to generate business opportunities.
  • Provide excellent pre-event and post-event client support.

Preferred candidate profile


We are looking for a proactive, target-driven sales professional with 15 years of experience in B2B, exhibition, event, or sponsorship sales. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, be confident in cold calling and lead generation, and be passionate about achieving sales targets. Experience in the exhibition, events, or education industry will be an added advantage.
