Executive - Research and Development (Rubber)

• Lead and support new product development (NPD) initiatives involving rubber, silicone, and polymer-based medical devices.
• Conduct formulation development, material selection, and validation studies for components used in medical applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Marketing to align R&D efforts with business goals.
• Perform experimental design, prototype development, testing, and data analysis to support product development.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, and other regulatory guidelines applicable to medical devices.
• Stay updated with material innovations and emerging technologies relevant to the medical and healthcare industry.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing products and processes to enhance performance, safety, and manufacturability.
• Maintain detailed documentation including technical reports, test protocols, and R&D project records.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for sourcing new materials and evaluating their performance.

• Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Polymer Science, Rubber Technology or related field.
• Experience: 4 7 years of hands-on R&D experience in the medical device industry with a strong focus on rubber, silicone, and polymer materials .
• Sound knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience in material characterization techniques (FTIR, TGA, DSC, Rheology, etc.).
• Familiarity with sterilization methods, biocompatibility testing, and product validation.
