Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Program Coordinator Organo Et School
Role Objective
The Event Coordinator will plan, organize, and execute engaging experiential learning workshops and programs that promote sustainability education. This role requires translating the organization s vision for hands-on, eco-conscious learning into well-coordinated, safe, and impactful workshops/programs for schools, communities, and corporate partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule sustainability-focused workshops, field visits, and community events.
- Coordinate with schools, experts, facilitators, and vendors to finalize event details.
- Develop event timelines, checklists, and task allocations to ensure smooth execution.
- Arrange transportation, venue setup, learning kits, and safety protocols for each event.
- Manage on-site activities, ensuring sessions run on time and participant engagement is high.
- Oversee the distribution of teaching aids, materials, etc.
- Share important event dates, instructions, and updates with participants and team members.
- Network with potential leads and partners, maintaining professional relationships through CRM tools (e.g., Zoho).
- Monitor event-related budgets and track expenditures.
- Prepare post-event reports, including participant feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure all events follow established safety guidelines and risk management protocols.
- Address any emergencies or unforeseen issues promptly and effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Sustainability, Education, or related field. Master s degree is most.
- Preferably 6 year of experience in event coordination or program management.
- Prior experience in education, NGO, or sustainability sectors is a plus.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and diverse audiences (students, teachers, corporate professionals).
- Efficient in budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting.
- Flexibility to work on weekends or non-standard hours when requires.
