Job Overview:
This role will involve knowing, developing and maintaining the elevator market and Otis growth and Meeting customers to assess their requirements
On a typical day you will:
  • Knowing, developing and maintaining the elevator market and Otis growth.
  • Forecasting
  • Meeting customers to assess their requirements
  • Developing and increasing customer database
  • Preparing and maintaining Customer History Card for major customers
  • Establishing product strategy for allotted territory or account depending on market trend
  • Identifying and maintaining rapport with key persons in major customer organizations
  • Keeping customer informed, updated and equipped with product development and literature
  • Market survey
  • Knowing competitors
  • Special focus on major projects
  • Generating enquires and finalization of orders
  • Generating and attending new enquiries
  • Preparing sales negotiation data sheet
  • Preparing and submitting model elevator proposal
  • Preparing and submitting tenders
  • Attending pre-bid meetings, tender opening
  • Attending negotiation meeting
  • Follow up on proposals and tenders
  • Negotiation and finalizing of orders
  • Processing of orders received
  • Contract Management
  • Preparing of documents such as layout request, change in contract, finalized layout etc.
  • Coordinating with internal customers (Contractors, Sales HO and Accounts) and internal customer in various stages of the contract till the final payment is collected and handover ceremony performed.
  • Supporting the sales and marketing function
  • Giving suggestions, in interest of organizing
  • . Feedback and presentation on market, industry competitor
  • Preparing and making presentation to internal customers
  • Updating oneself on company policies, sales procedures and attending identified training programs.
  • Maintaining proposal database
  • Loss analysis, monitor and follow up processes from proposal to handover.
What you will need to be successful:
  • 2-7 Years of elevator sales experience.
  • Experience in MOD sales
