Role & responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end project procurement activities for engineering and project-based requirements.
• Vendor identification, development, evaluation, and negotiation for cost-effective procurement.
• Float RFQs, collect quotations, prepare comparative statements, and finalize orders.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, production, and stores teams for material planning and delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely procurement of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and project materials.
• Follow up with vendors for on-time delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain procurement documentation and records.
• Monitor inventory levels and avoid material shortages for ongoing projects.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and commercial terms.
• Cost optimization and effective negotiation to achieve project budget targets.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation activities for project materials.
• Maintain MIS reports related to procurement, vendor status, and project purchasing activities.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Candidate with Engineering Purchase Experience in Pharmaceutical Company
