Role Summary:
The Sales Executive/Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling ISO training programs (Public & In-house) to corporate clients and individuals, Training Sales package (part of Training Academy business of SGS india). The role requires strong customer engagement, lead generation, follow-ups, and closing sales while maintaining excellent customer relationships to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, digital platforms, networking, and referrals.
• Promote public and customized in-house ISO training programs such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, IATF 16949, SOTIF, Functional Safety, and other accredited courses.
• Engage with prospects, understand their training needs, and present suitable training solutions.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Customer Engagement & Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat and referral business.
• Handle inbound enquiries, provide program details, and guide customers through the enrollment process.
• Coordinate with technical/trainer teams to ensure customized offerings for corporate clients.
• Manage customer lifecycle including enquiry, proposal, negotiation, confirmation, and post-training feedback.
Proposal & Documentation:
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and training calendars based on client requirements.
• Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline tracking, and reporting as per internal process.
• Ensure timely communication and follow-ups with leads and existing accounts.
Marketing & Collaboration:
- Support marketing campaigns, webinars, exhibitions, and promotions to increase training visibility.
• Work closely with marketing, training operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong sales negotiation and closing skills.
• Customer-focused approach with proactive follow-up discipline.
• Knowledge of ISO Standards & training industry preferred (not mandatory but an advantage).
• CRM and MS Office proficiency.
