Etp Operator

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) as per standard operating procedures.
  
• Monitor treatment processes to ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board norms.
  
• Regularly check inlet and outlet water parameters such as pH, TDS, BOD, COD, TSS, etc.
  
• Handle dosing of chemicals and ensure optimum chemical consumption.
  
• Maintain daily operation logs, shift records, and treatment reports.
  
• Attend minor breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance team for major issues.
  
• Ensure proper functioning of pumps, blowers, motors, filters, and pipelines.
  
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain housekeeping around the plant area.
  
• Support audits and inspections by statutory authorities when required.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in operating ETP systems.
  
• Basic knowledge of biological, chemical, and physical treatment processes.
  
• Ability to work in shifts and handle plant operations independently.
  
• Good understanding of safety practices and environmental compliance.
  
• ITI / Diploma candidates will be preferred.Role & responsibilities
