Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Develop mappings, mapplets, workflows, worklets, and reusable transformations.
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into data warehouses.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and performance tuning.
• Perform data analysis, data profiling, and data validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures and resolve production support issues.
• Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with business analysts, database administrators, and application teams to understand business requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and implement ETL development best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, ETL design documents, and deployment guides.
• Support release management, deployment, and production activities.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Mandatory Skills
• 47 years of experience in ETL Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Good experience with Oracle SQL or PL/SQL.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact & Dimension tables).
• Experience in developing Mappings, Workflows, Sessions, and Transformations.
• Knowledge of ETL performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience in data validation, data cleansing, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Good to Have
• Experience with Autosys, Control-M, or other scheduling tools.
• Exposure to Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Knowledge of Python or Shell Scripting.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
