Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ab-Initio Developer to join Synechron in Bengaluru, BCIT. This role requires 7 to 15 years of experience, with a notice period of immediate joiner to 15 days.

About the Role

We are looking for an Ab-Initio Developer with 7+ years of experience.

Role Overview

Experienced Senior Ab-Initio resource responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale data integration solutions. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in Ab-Initio and strong ownership of end-to-end delivery within a regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Ab-Initio ETL applications for large-scale enterprise data platforms.
• Build and optimize batch and real-time data processing pipelines.
• Translate business and functional requirements into efficient, scalable technical solutions.
• Perform performance tuning, debugging, and optimization of Ab-Initio graphs.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, QA teams, and upstream/downstream stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis, and timely defect resolution.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code and design reviews.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of strong, hands-on experience in Ab-Initio development.
• Expertise in:
  • GDE (Graphical Development Environment)
  • Co>Operating System
  • Metadata Hub (EME)
  • Parallelism, partitioning, and performance tuning
• Excellent understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and large-scale data integration.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in data analysis.
• Experience in banking or financial services environments.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release management processes.
