Environmental Health and Safety Officer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive policies, procedures, and training programs related to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
• Collaborate with management teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Implement effective hazard identification and risk assessment techniques to minimize risks.
• Provide training and guidance on EHS best practices to employees.

Job Requirements :

• Strong skills in accident investigation, HIRA (Hazard Identification), risk assessment, and incident investigation.
• Proven track record of developing effective EHS policies and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in the chemicals industry.
