Environmental Health and Safety Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and safety plans on-site
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and report unsafe conditions/acts
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations, permits, and PPE usage
• Assist in conducting toolbox talks, safety trainings, and awareness programs
• Maintain EHS documentation, reports, and incident records
• Support incident/accident investigations and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure contractors adhere to safety standards and client requirements
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of activities
• Assist during safety audits, inspections, and client reviews
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering / Safety / Environmental Science
• 12-20 years of experience in EHS within construction / PMC projects
• Mandatory experience in Semiconductor projects
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, safety standards, and best practices
• Experience in handling site safety documentation and reporting
• Familiarity with international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

• Safety certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
• Experience in large-scale or fast-track projects
• Ability to identify risks and implement preventive measures
• Strong coordination and reporting capabilities
