Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Role & responsibilities :

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP/STP).
• Monitor treatment processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Conduct routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of ETP equipment.
• Maintain EHS documentation, records, statutory registers, and compliance reports.
• Ensure compliance with local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Conduct EHS inspections, internal audits, and implement corrective & preventive actions.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and monitor CAPA implementation.
• Develop and implement pollution control and waste management programs.
• Conduct Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Process Safety Management (PSM) activities.
• Prepare and maintain Form-9, Form-10, Form-11, PSSR, and other statutory documents.
• Ensure workplace safety through PPE compliance, safe work practices, and contractor safety management.
• Conduct EHS induction and safety training programs for employees and contractors.
• Evaluate new processes and equipment from an EHS perspective.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve plant safety and operational efficiency.
• Ensure laboratory chemical safety and scale-up laboratory safety practices.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
