Environmental Health and Safety Executive

Job Resposibilities:

Implement an EH& S Management System at Bangalore Works to meet Otis, Global Standards WWWJSS requirements.

Responsible for implementation of Environment Management System (EMS) as per ISO 14001.

Maintain effective communication and awareness on all safety, health and environmental matters.

Coordinate and conduct training required at various levels of employees and sub-contractors in accordance with corporate and regulatory requirements (Trainings like JHA, Inspections, First-aid, Firefighting, Emergency response  etc.).

Liaison & coordinate with Pollution Control Board and other related agencies as & when necessary.

Prepare & Submit necessary Returns & Annual Statements to KSPCB on time.

Experience Required:

Graduation/ Diploma – Mechanical / Electrical branch preferred.

Minimum 4 – 6 years of experience.

To be a qualified Environmental Engineer/ Officer.

 

Should be pursuing or completed Degree/ Diploma in Safety Management from a recognized Government institute.

 

Qualification in Fire system Management is an added advantage. Preferably to be Certified Lead auditor of ISO 14001 /18001 or such training program for safety.

 

Should be fluent in Kannada as a local language.
