Job Description
This role expects the individual to design, govern, and maintain the organization s enterprise-wide IT architecture , aligning technology strategy with business objectives. The Enterprise Architect will define standards and optimize systems across Data, Application, and Technology layers , ensuring that solutions and implementations support business growth, innovation, scalability, and security.
Expectations Strategy
- Develop and own the enterprise IT roadmap , translating business goals into actionable architecture blueprints.
- Ensure technology initiatives support business needs, improve operational efficiency, enhance security, and enable seamless information sharing.
- Define, create, and govern enterprise architecture across applications, data, and infrastructure .
- Ensure architectural consistency, scalability, and interoperability across the organization.
- Define and enforce IT policies, architectural standards, and best practices for development, integration, and system usage.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles and regulatory requirements.
- Provide architectural leadership and direction to development and engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to manage and guide technological change across the enterprise.
- Evaluate existing systems to identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies.
- Research and recommend emerging technologies and architectural improvements to enhance business operations.
- Deep understanding of enterprise IT systems , data management, software development, and infrastructure architecture.
- Strong proficiency in architectural frameworks such as BDAT (Business, Data, Application, Technology) or equivalent enterprise architecture models.
- Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and design solutions aligned with the overall enterprise IT blueprint and business objectives.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Drive alignment across multiple customer teams and partner organizations to ensure a unified architectural direction.
- Facilitate technical discussions, resolve conflicts, and negotiate architecture decisions among diverse stakeholders.
- Clearly articulate architectural strategies, trade-offs, and design decisions to executive leadership and delivery teams.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience , with significant hands-on experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or large-scale system design .
- Proven experience designing and governing enterprise-level architectures across data, application, and technology domains.
- Experience working with senior leadership and influencing strategic technology decisions.
- Exposure to large, complex, multi-system enterprise environments is highly preferred.
