Role Overview

The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for defining, designing, and governing the overall enterprise technology architecture aligned with business strategy. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, hands-on technical expertise, and stakeholder management, ensuring scalable, secure, and future-ready IT landscapes. The architect will collaborate closely with business leaders, engineering teams, and external partners to drive cloud modernization, enterprise architecture standardization, and digital transformation initiatives across clients and internal programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
  • Define and apply enterprise architecture best practices across applications, data, infrastructure, and security domains.
  • Develop target-state architectures, roadmaps, and future-state visions aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure architectural compliance with regulatory, security, and operational standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends including cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, AI/ML, and platform modernization.
• Architecture Design & Advisory
  • Design and deliver end-to-end enterprise solutions across diverse industries and business domains.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers to influence technology strategy and cloud adoption.
  • Create reusable architectures, reference models, patterns, and playbooks to accelerate modernization and migration initiatives.
• Cloud Modernization & Migration
  • Lead large-scale modernization and migration programs, including on-premises to cloud, cloud-to-cloud, and hybrid architectures.
  • Architect solutions across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms (AWS preferred; multi-cloud exposure is a plus).
  • Conduct assessments using workshops, discovery sessions, questionnaires, and immersion days to evaluate existing technology landscapes.
• Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Partner with business, product, and technology leaders to ensure solutions meet functional, technical, and migration requirements.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, domain architects, and engineering teams to ensure consistency in enterprise architecture practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor during client engagements and internal initiatives.
• Risk, Governance & Quality Management
  • Analyze existing applications and platforms for alignment with enterprise and global technology standards.
  • Identify architectural risks, conduct impact assessments, and define mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure solution quality, scalability, resilience, and security.
• Mentorship & Continuous Improvement
  • Mentor and guide architects and engineering teams, fostering a culture of architectural excellence.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and architectural maturity improvement.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, best practices, and architectural governance frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Enterprise Architecture with hands-on design and implementation exposure.
• Proficiency in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
• Deep understanding of cloud architectures, microservices, DevOps, and modern application platforms.
• Experience with data privacy, security, and compliance requirements across industries and geographies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills.
• Experience in consulting or professional services environments is highly desirable.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are a strong plus.
