Job Summary

The Deputy Manager – Contracts & Commercial will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement, contract management, strategic sourcing, vendor development, and commercial activities for O&M requirements of the 1350 MW Thermal Power Plant. The role focuses on cost optimization, timely procurement, supplier relationship management, and compliance with procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing of O&M equipment, spares, consumables, and services.
• Handle complete PR-to-PO process, approvals, and procurement documentation.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts and vendor agreements.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships while identifying new suppliers.
• Drive cost optimization through supplier negotiations and market analysis.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely procurement and project execution.
• Prepare procurement MIS reports and monitor budget, procurement status, and vendor performance.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 2-7 years in Procurement, Contracts & Commercial, preferably in Thermal Power, Power.
