Job Description
Diploma or Bachelors in Engineering degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering
2-10 years experience in Structural Steel Industry
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in reading and analyzing contract drawings
- Experience in documenting mismatching or missing information
- Experience in AISC/BS/BIS standards
- Experience in preparing engineering input documents
- Experience in checking structural steel fabrication and erection drawings
- Experience in correcting drawings in Trimble Tekla 3D models
- Knowledge of different structural steel shapes
- Ability to visualize problems with fabrication and erection and suggest alternative solutions
- Ability to effectively communicate with other team members
- Ability to work in a flexible team environment and be a team player
- Ability to meet project schedules
