Key Responsibilities

People Management : Mentor and manage a team of 812 engineers, conducting performance reviews, career coaching, and hiring top talent.
Technical Leadership : Lead architecture and design discussions for scalable backend systems, APIs, and multi-tenant microservices.
Full-Stack Architecture : Define and oversee end-to-end architecture, ensuring seamless integration between backend services and frontend frameworks.
Scalability Multi-Tenancy : Build systems capable of supporting millions of concurrent users across multiple tenants with high availability and low latency.
Cloud Infrastructure as Code : Ensure cloud-native, automated, and resilient infrastructure through tools like Terraform and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Hands-On Development : Contribute to backend codebase when needed (Node.js/Java/Python/Go), set coding best practices, and review critical pull requests.
Agile Delivery : Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery timelines in partnership with Product Managers.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Design) to deliver highquality releases.
Innovation : Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies to propose and implement modern engineering practices.

Background and Experience

8+ years of software development experience, with at least 23 years in a leadership/managerial role.
Strong backend expertise with Node.js (preferred), Java, Python, or Go.
Proven experience designing and scaling distributed systems, multi-tenant architectures, and microservices.
Solid understanding of full-stack architecture including frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and backend integration.
Proficiency with databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching systems (Redis, Memcached), and messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
Strong problem-solving, system design, and architecture skills.
Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing engineering teams. Good to Have

Exposure to real-time data streaming, WebSockets, or GraphQL APIs.
