Engineering Manager

We are looking for a highly driven Engineering Manager who can lead product engineering teams, drive execution, and ensure high-quality delivery of scalable platforms.

This role requires a strong hands-on technical leader who can balance architecture, coding, team management, and delivery ownership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership Delivery

• Lead and manage a team of engineers (backend, frontend, full-stack)
• Own end-to-end delivery of product features and releases
• Ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and milestones
• Drive Agile methodologies and sprint execution

2. Technical Ownership

• Contribute to system design and architecture decisions
• Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code when required
• Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and code reviews
• Drive adoption of microservices and API-first architecture

3. Engineering Excellence

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms

4. Collaboration Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Product, Design, and Leadership teams
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies effectively

5. Team Building Mentorship

• Hire, mentor, and grow engineering talent
• Conduct performance reviews and skill development plans
• Build a high-performance, ownership-driven culture

6. Innovation Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation and optimization
• Encourage adoption of new tools, technologies, and frameworks

Technical Skills (Must-Have)

Core Technologies

• Backend: Java / Python / Node.js / Go
• Frontend: React / Angular / Vue
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and system integration

Cloud Infrastructure

• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes

Architecture

• Microservices architecture
• API-first design
• Event-driven systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ preferred)

DevOps Tools

• CI/CD (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI)
• Git-based version control
• Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

Data Handling

• SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Basic understanding of data pipelines

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in product-based companies
• Exposure to building scalable platforms from scratch or early stage
• Experience working on high-traffic or real-time systems (e.g., logistics, mobility, delivery platforms)
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
