Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented manager to join our growing team. You will play a key role in the overall success of the organization by planning, managing monitoring engineering functions. You will be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects, processes, budgets timelines and making any necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion

Your responsibilities:

• Design, execute, utilize, and maintain software engineering applications.
• Prepare all required Technical Proposal pertinent to software engineering.
• Administer support for Business Development, Systems Engineering and SR Technical personnel.
• Supervise training and development of software engineering staff.
• Assign work to software engineering personnel and evaluate plus manages their performance.
• Support to recruit engineering personnel, technical staffing and project teams formation.
• Supervise engineering deliverables.
• Manages continuing support and provide system metrics for client facing products.
• Present practical input for strategic technology decisions.
• Support preparation of Technology Roadmap.
• Comply with all professional departmental as well as company best practices.
• Present project management backup as required.
• Help translation of business requirements into technical needs and actions.
• Supervise reporting responsibility for independent software contractors, software engineers and outsourcing partners.
• Ensure software engineering personnel is suitably trained to perform all job function and suitably use project and software related tools.

Skill sets/Experience we require:

6 plus years of engineering experience in a management role

Analytical and mathematical mindset, capable of evaluating and solving various complex problems

Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a team

Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the entire engineering team on track

Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline driven environment

Interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience Ability to work individually or as part of a team

Pedigree:

Minimum of a bachelor s degree in engineering

Master s degree in engineering management or business administration
