Job Summary

Role: Engineering Manager for Security Architecture

Role Expectations:

• Lead and mentor the Security Architecture team, ensuring consistent, high-quality security reviews and risk assessments.
• Provide oversight and governance for security risk evaluations, including waivers, exceptions, and IPT reviews, ensuring alignment with organizational risk tolerance.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex security architecture decisions, review blockers, and stakeholder conflicts.
• Partner with business, engineering, and security stakeholders to identify and remediate process gaps, driving continuous improvement in security review processes.
• Establish review priorities, balance team workload, and allocate resources based on business impact and security risk.
• Define, maintain, and enforce security architecture standards, review methodologies, and governance practices.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Track and communicate key metrics related to security reviews, risk trends, and operational effectiveness to leadership.
