Engineer - SCLA - Concessions

Experience Range : 5-8 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform static and F&DT analysis to assess the structural impact of manufacturing non-conformities, airframe repairs, reworks, and modifications .

• Able to perform risk assessments for In-service fleet issues.

• Ensure adherence to Airbus methods, processes, and certification requirements .

• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and other Airbus departments to develop optimal solutions.

• Work towards and maintain Technical Signature Delegation for concessions on primary and secondary aircraft structures .

• Review, approve, or pre-approve stress justification reports for aircraft concessions.

• Knowledge about Aircraft Maintenance tasks, ALI , MPD , SB , AOT , AD .

• Provide technical guidance to peers and support the development of stress engineers in the delegation process.

• Develop and maintain component and aircraft familiarity to ensure prompt response to production needs .

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in static stress analysis of aircraft structures, with a strong understanding of F&DT concepts .

• Experience handling concessions for aerospace components , preferably Airbus structures.

• Understanding of certification requirements and experience with stress dossiers.

• Proficiency in Finite Element Methods (FEM/FEA) and stress analysis tools (e.g., ISAMI, GFEM, DFEM ).

• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, aircraft loads, and material behavior .

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills .

• Self-motivated, proactive team player with strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Willingness to develop towards and maintain Technical Signature Delegation .
