Experience

3–6 Years

Qualification

  • B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Certification in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management (Preferred).

Job Purpose

To support project execution by preparing accurate quantity take-offs, managing client and subcontractor billing, monitoring project quantities, reconciling materials and work executed, and ensuring timely certification and payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

Quantity Take-Off

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from construction drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
  • Verify quantities for civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
  • Prepare quantity comparison statements and monitor quantity variations.
  • Coordinate with the design and execution teams for quantity clarifications.

Client Billing

  • Prepare monthly client RA bills based on work executed.
  • Coordinate with clients and consultants for bill certification.
  • Maintain billing records and payment trackers.
  • Address client billing queries and support timely certification.

Subcontractor Billing

  • Verify subcontractor measurements and work executed at site.
  • Prepare and certify subcontractor RA bills.
  • Ensure bills comply with contract terms, BOQs, and approved rates.
  • Process final bills and coordinate with Finance for timely payment.

Quantity Reconciliation

  • Prepare material reconciliation statements for key construction materials such as cement, steel, concrete, structural steel, blocks, and finishing materials.
  • Monitor material consumption against BOQ quantities.
  • Identify quantity variances and support corrective actions.
  • Prepare work reconciliation reports and quantity variance analysis.

Cost Control

  • Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
  • Track quantity deviations and variation orders.
  • Assist in preparing cost reports and forecasting project costs.
  • Support claims, change orders, and quantity variation documentation.

Documentation & MIS

  • Maintain quantity records, BOQs, measurement sheets, billing registers, and reconciliation statements.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports.
  • Ensure proper documentation for audits and client reviews.

Coordination

  • Coordinate with Planning, Execution, Procurement, Design, Finance, and Contracts teams.
  • Attend project review meetings and support commercial discussions.
  • Ensure timely closure of billing-related issues.
