Engineer (MG5) - Base Engine Department - R&D Business Unit

• Emission Testing Engineer
• Perform engine emission tests as per regulatory and internal test procedures.
• Hands on experience in engine installation and set-up for emission testing, including engine coupling and decoupling with the dyno.
• Candidate should have good experience in emission test reports validation. Expertise in operating AVL (PUMA-2), Horiba STARS, and Iasys Orbit-E emission test bench systems.
• Operate and maintain emission testing equipment's such as Dyno, Emission Analyzers, SPC systems, Smoke meters, FTIR, MSS, Blow-bye Meters, CCU FCU Blow-bye Meters, CCU FCU systems).
• Comprehensive knowledge of emission test cycles.
• Aware about NABL (ISO/IEC 17025) test lab accreditation standards.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving Emission Test Bench-related issues. Awareness of engine calibration and After-Treatment System integration, with working experience in the Inca Engine Calibration Tools.
• Experienced in Engine certification process and preparing emission test cell readiness for Engine Certification Engine CoP.
• Establishing Emission Test Results Correlation with Other Site (external agency) Emissions Test Results.
• Initiatives to improve Emission Test Bench utilization and overall lab efficiency.
• Hands on experience in engine proto assembly (Engine hardware replacement activities) Skilled in utilizing AVL Indiset / Indimicro and Kistler combustion analysis tools.
